I was seeing ANVIL in bars all during the 90's and 200's, for 10 bucks a show, the NICEST bunch of guys you could ever meet!! Even had a chance to indulge with them when I was into that. \m/ \m/ They deserve all the success they get!! Most underrated metal band ever!!

watch the movie anvil... learn about it before you say it never happened because it did and they rocked. im only 17 and i know its real because i have gained actually knowledgable facts from teachers that go over bands like these and talk about their entire history.

I wont lie. I never knew Anvil until they were announced to play next years Bloodstock but my god they are good! I'm hooked :) Watched the documentary and was soooo happy for them at the end :) Keep rocking Anvil!

this is the "super rock '84" concert from tokyo, japan. also on this show were dio, the scorpions, whitesnake, bon jovi............. i have been listening to anvil for 30 fucking years. metal on metal was RE-RECORDED as bonus track for anvil's 13th album "this is thirteen" in 2007. the original version is the title track of the 2nd anvil album that was released on attic records in 1982. you need to spend more time doing research.

You can't be serious. As a 41 year old Canadian Metal fan I've been listening to them as long as Metallica and Slayer.longer, This song is done live. I've seen it on tv years ago. Anvil is still touring whenever they can, and I think Lips turned 54 this year. This song/album "Metal On Metal" came out in 1982 This concert was recorded later, in the late 80's or early 90's. Check out the documentary "Anvil: The Story Of Anvil" and their 2010 and 14th album "Juggernaut Of Justice"
