I saw Albert in Kendal U.K. last night performing hit after hit after hit for two hours nonstop. At the end of the evening he received a much deserved standing ovation. Thank you Albert for a brilliant unforgettable evening.

Thumbs down if you lived this. I did. The whole thing.  In January of 1978 I flew out to LA. It's depressing to remember it, but I was a stupid kid. The bridge "out of work..." really brings it home. I don't mind that this is the song that described my life in the early part of 1978, it really is a wonderful song.
